Barrie is from England and is a former tv and radio producer. He began his career as a BBC announcer and presenter. In later years he played a major role in launching over a dozen new tv channels across Europe.
Formally from California, Scott has spent many years in Oldenburg specialising in technical translation services. He is also a slow-food enthusiast and ardent supporter of local food production.
DR JOHN GOODYEAR
John, from England, is an expert on Anglo-German affairs. He is currently involved in research projects, splitting his time between the UK and Oldenburg in Germany.
Alecia is from Barbados where she practised medicine. She now runs a training company specialising in medical English. In her spare time (!) she is also a published novelist.
Andrew reports live from Bavaria. When not on air he is, among other things, a teacher and translator and came to Germany in the early nineties. He also has a big Youtube fan base numbering many thousands who watch his tongue in cheek videos.
You probably won't see Kamran on our shows but he plays a big role in developing and keeping our system operational.
Bastian is the show's researcher, coming up with ideas and following up leads. During the programme he also cuts the pictures you see on screen.
